The Global Start Up Program (GSUP) (link) is the prestigious foreign acceleration program reserved for Italian start-ups with international growth potential. Organised by the Italian Trade Agency (link) on behalf of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (link), it aims to encourage the economic consolidation of Italian enterprises in foreign markets.
Nazena is one of the 119 innovative start-ups selected to take part in the second edition of this project. It provides an integrated path to be carried out at one of the international partners of Italian Trade Agency.
The Accelerator Network (link), one of the main reference points for start-ups and scale-ups in the UK, will be our guide at Nazena. The British accelerator will help us to increase our expertise and our competitiveness in the heated international market.
Together with us, another 118 start-ups were admitted to the project after a careful selection process. These are young companies active in the fields of ICT, life sciences, smart cities and home automation, smart agriculture, food tech, robotics and Industry 4.0, aerospace and automotive and, of course, circular economy. Which we are proud representatives of.
A list that well reflects the current scenario and the likely future trend of national and international entrepreneurship.
Global Start Up Program: what does the accelerator program offer?
The GSUP involves a series of mentoring and networking activities and takes place in two stages:
– the first aims to implement technical and organisational skills
– the second is an applied management specialisation that will be completed in a 3-6 month internship abroad.
The Global Start Up Program is a key training opportunity for us, not only to make our business model more effective but also to increase our ability to attract investment. We will have the opportunity to take part in various international promotional events, and we will turn these into real opportunities for growth.
We are embarking on this journey with commitment and passion, it is already enriching us and we can’t wait to see where it takes us.
