September, October and November: three months of meetings and trips, three busy months in which we were lucky enough to participate in three very different fairs but in all of which we found interesting realities with whom we share the goal of establishing a model of sustainable economy in the world.
This fall we have indeed been protagonists of a series of events around the north of Italy that have made us grow and that we want to tell you (and recommend you!).
September 4-10, Milan Design Week: sustainable economy starting from materials
At the Milan Design Week (LINK) we were led by Materially (LINK), one of our partners specialized in research, consulting and networking related to innovative and sustainable materials.
In the broader context of the reference event for the world of international design, Nazena has earned its place within the exhibition Materials Village (LINK), dedicated to materials, production processes and technologies aimed at sustainability and circular economy. More specifically, we were one of the protagonists of the Westenders display, focused on startups and young companies that starting from waste materials create new value by giving birth to everyday items.
Between Salone and Fuorisalone events, the fair was a great success confirming Milan as the capital of international design, and we are proud to have participated with our proposal of sustainable economy in the packaging and fashion supply chains.
October 26-29, Ecomondo: all faces of sustainability
Ecomondo (LINK) is the most important event in Europe on green economy and deals with the entire ecosystem of environmental sustainability, from eco-design to the redevelopment of contaminated areas. It takes place every year in the Exhibition Centre of Rimini, hosts more than a thousand exhibitors and sees more than 80,000 visitors from different parts of the world.
Nazena was among the 34 startups selected to participate with a dedicated stand within the international showcase of technologies, services and solutions for the ecological transition that is named Key Energy (LINK).
Here the synergies for a sustainable economy have arisen spontaneously and numerous and we have already begun to reap the fruits.
If you still find it difficult to imagine the ecological transition, we suggest you to make a visit to Ecomondo next year: the solutions that you’ll find are actually a lot and you’ll realize that sustainable development is far from utopia, we just need to put it in place.
November 22-25, MADEexpo: building a sustainable future from its foundations
Back in Milan (Rho, to be exact) and again the focus on design and materials for MADEexpo (LINK), the last exhibition of the fall season in which we had the pleasure to take part. This is where, every year, builders, designers, companies and operators in the world of construction and architecture meet to build together a sustainable future, from all points of view.
The Start up Zone (LINK) promoted by the ICE Agency (LINK) has welcomed in an open space of over 100 square meters Nazena and other 20 startups that like us are engaged in the development of innovative products and services with high technological value.
The MADEexpo gave us the opportunity to learn about trends and proposals of those who design a sustainable restart from the grounds: a chance to rethink and reshape the spaces of a society that is changing its habits of life and mobility.
All these events have renewed our feeling of being part of something larger and more important, something that brings together the ideas and energies of many to achieve a change in the service of all.
